His lifelong passion for taking things apart and discovering their inner workings led him naturally into the world of technology and innovation. As a teenager, Patrick was already exploring ways to mak
Patrick Weaver was born in the desert of Southern California, where his curiosity for understanding how things work began at an early age. His lifelong passion for taking things apart and discovering their inner workings led him naturally into the world of technology and innovation. As a teenager, Patrick was already exploring ways to make life more efficient, experimenting with automation before he even realized its potential.
Patrick's career began in the Cable TV and Satellite industry, where he developed expertise in low voltage installations and broadband distribution. His dedication and leadership skills earned him roles training and managing teams of installers, eventually becoming an operations manager. These experiences laid the groundwork for his technical proficiency and management acumen.
In 2017, Patrick's passion for automation was reignited when he witnessed the rise of accessible smart home technology. The concept of a video doorbell that allowed homeowners to see who was at their doorstep fascinated him and inspired a deeper dive into home automation. He worked with many home automation companies and product vendors, refining his skills and gaining valuable industry knowledge.
In May 2023, Patrick relocated his family to Maryland while continuing to work for a home automation company. In October 2024, he took a bold step and started his own business, project iot. His company focuses on making home automation accessible and seamless, empowering clients to save time, reduce energy waste, and enjoy the benefits of smart technology. Patrick's mission is to integrate technology into daily life in a way that enhances convenience and provides peace of mind.
